The East Lansing Art Festival and the MSU Arts and Crafts Show took over north campus and the downtown streets Saturday and Sunday, replacing the typical weekend traffic with the tents of over 200 combined art vendors.

In the days and weeks following the Feb. 13, 2023 shooting on MSU’s campus, students, faculty and other members of the community gathered to mourn the collective loss they had suffered. Throughout the months of Aug. and Sept., many natural disasters have swept the nation, including the tragic Maui wildfires which left 115 people dead, hurricane Idalia a Category 3 hurricane and Hurricane Hillary, a pacific storm battering the west coast.
