The MSU Volleyball team cancelled their matchup today against the Florida Gators in Gainesville due to the threat of Hurricane Irma.

The game for today was scheduled for 5 p.m. for the Active Ankle Challenge held at Exactech Arena. The team planned on playing tonight and returning back to East Lansing after the game. Before the final cancellation, the Spartans were the only team arriving to face the Gators while other teams such as American and UNC-Greensboro cancelled earlier in the week.

The team will return back to campus later today and begin to practice for next week’s Notre Dame Shamrock Invitational in South Bend. There the team will face off against Southern Illinois, Central Michigan, and Notre Dame for their last weekend in non-conference play.
