A preliminary examination hearing is currently being held to determine whether there is enough evidence for ex-MSU doctor Larry Nassar to stand on trial against certain criminal sexual assault charges. Nassar currently faces 15 first-degree criminal sexual assault charges in the 55th District Court in Ingham County.
The preliminary examination started at 9 a.m. and will likely not conclude today. Two additional dates have been set aside for further testimony from plaintiffs — May 26 and June 23.
