MSU has just been ranked No. 6 in the world for its communication and media studies program by QS Top Universities. This year, MSU jumped up five spots from No. 11 on the list and now sits behind the London School of Economics and Political Science.
The University of Southern California is No. 1 on the list for communication and media studies and the University of Wisconsin-Madison is No. 2.
The rankings are based on a combination of academic and employer reputation which result in an overall score for each university.
MSU would not have earned the No. 6 spot in the world if it was not for the hard work and dedication of the students as well as the professors, according to the website, which has published rankings annually since 2011.
QS Top Universities ranks MSU at No. 164 in overall universities in the world.
