MSU football reserve safety Mark Meyers was arrested during the weekend and subsequently jailed on charges of operating while intoxicated, according to a report on isportsweb.
Meyers was reportedly jailed at Ingham County Jail Sunday morning. He has since been released on bond.
"I suspended Mark Meyers for an incident last night and he's suspended indefinitely," Dantonio said in a conference call with reporters Sunday.
Meyers, 21, played in Friday’s season-opening win at Western Michigan. The advertising major was named to the 2014 Academic All-Big Ten team with a 3.05 GPA, making it the second year in a row for him.
