The Ingham County Prosecutor's Office will undertake a second trial against Meng Long Li, the alumnus accused of assaulting student Yan Li at a Meridian Township karaoke club on Jan. 31, 2014.
Though the jury found the other defendant in the trial, student Shan Gao, not guilty of all charges, they were unable to reach a verdict on Meng Long Li.
