Girls' Day Out promises slew of deals Saturday

The City of East Lansing will be hosting Girls’ Day Out on Oct. 11. There will be deals at participating stores and restaurants. For each business participating, there will be gold balloons attached to the front exterior.

There are 23 businesses taking part in this event, including Beggar’s Banquet, the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum, the MSU Student Book Store and Yoga State of Mind, to name a few. The Broad Art Museum will have free admission from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Yoga State of Mind will have a $5 yoga class from 5:45 to 7 p.m.

There will be different events taking place throughout the day, from 11 a.m. until 7:45 p.m., including a performance by the MSU Dance Team at 11 a.m. in the Ann Street Plaza.

A program guide, a downtown map and a free parking coupon can be attained at each participating business.
