Stratford Shakespeare Festival: “Shakespeare’s Will” is coming to campus the weekend following Thanksgiving break. The show will be held from Nov. 29-Dec. 1 in Wharton Center’s Pasant Theatre.
Thursday’s show will start at 7:30 p.m., with Friday’s show and Saturday’s show starting at 8 p.m.
The show features a description of William Shakespeare’s life told by his widow, Anne Hathaway. On the eve of Shakespeare’s funeral, Hathaway tells her life stories of the times spent with and without the famous poet.
Seana McKenna, who is a veteran of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival and considered one of Canada’s best actresses, plays the lead role of Hathaway.
The tickets are on sale for the price of $48.00 per ticket, with a free preview lecture that includes a half-hour discussion about the production that goes into the shows. The preview lecture will be held in the festival lobby near the concession areas.
