The highly anticipated opening of the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum now is slated to be Nov. 10.
The outdoor opening ceremony originally was scheduled for Nov. 9. Jason Meyers, director of communications for the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum, said the ceremony was pushed to the weekend to accommodate schedules. He said Saturday will be a more convenient time for the community to attend.
The museum will offer tours for those who preregister at advancement.msu.edu/events/BroadReception.
The museum will be free and open to the public without preregistration from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11.
Meyers said more details will be available later this week.
