The weather on Tuesday was 72 degrees and sunny in East Lansing, according to the National Weather Service. For many, the day was an expected surprise after the weekend’s cold and wet weather conditions. The weather is expected to be warm and sunny for the remainder of the week.

“(The weather) makes going outside and doing homework more exciting than staying in and doing it.”
Lauren Frey

“I’m happy, but at the same time, it’s Michigan. Next week it’s probably going to be snowing.”
Nailah Brown

“I felt happy. I think I wore a sweatshirt this morning and it was comfy … I kind of like it. I don’t like rain, but I like the nice weather now.”
Allison Dick

“I am liking this week because I’m a summer girl and this weather is more like summer than the cold weather we have coming our way.”
Amanda Chodnicki
