After electing Sarah Pomeroy as president March 2 and Wednesday’s scheduled vice-presidential election, representatives from RHA, the Residence Halls Association, are preparing for the upcoming school year.
Pomeroy, who previously held the position of RHA’s chief of staff, was elected earlier this month over Kevin Fleury, the current director of the movie offices.
An increase in advertising and marketing the resources the RHA has available and improving the campus-wide residence halls fitness centers were some goals Pomeroy said she hoped to achieve.
Pomeroy and the new vice-president elect officially will be sworn into the positions during RHA’s April 13 meeting.
Results from RHA’s vice-presidential election were scheduled to be released Wednesday night.
