A student had his backpack returned to him after it was stolen Monday night at the Main Library, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The victim, a 21-year-old male student, allegedly had his backpack taken from near the library’s Cyber Cafe. The backpack, valued at $80, contained an Apple MacBook laptop valued at $1,300 and an iPod valued at $200, McGlothian-Taylor said.
Early Tuesday morning the backpack was located by staff, reporting that the iPod was still in the backpack, however the laptop was gone.
