Making East Lansing Spartan Clean

September 20, 2010

Big crowds produce trash, that’s just the way it is,” Pat Enos, assistant vice president of student affairs and Community Relations Coalition, or CRC, member said.

The CRC, an organization that focuses on relationships between permanent East Lansing residents and the students living in off-campus neighborhoods, held a post-game cleanup Sunday morning. Students and various volunteers from the community joined CRC members to collect trash and other debris strewn throughout the sidewalks and streets, and also offered assistance to residents in cleaning up private properties to help them avoid receiving fines from the city.
