Honors College hosts activities

The MSU Honors College is sponsoring Geek Week 2010 next week by hosting daily activities for students.

A Trivial Pursuit tournament will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the Eustace-Cole upper lounge. Prizes will be given to winning teams.

Interested students can RSVP to hcsac@msu.edu with a team of four by Friday.

Tuesday is Planetarium Night, featuring a 7 p.m. show at MSU’s Abrams Planetarium called Journey to the Edge of Space and Time.

A series of monologues and skits called “Tunnel of Oppression” are being organized at the Union Ballroom.

Students can receive tours at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. Wednesday to learn about discrimination and prejudice in society.

The annual Bring Your Own Culture, or BYOC, dinner is being held at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Eustace-Cole Hall upper lounge.

The last event held will be a Euchre tournament at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Eustace-Cole Hall upper lounge.
