World AIDS Day holds MSU events

Kresge Art Museum will display the NAMES Project AIDS Quilt at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Main Gallery. The quilt is an ongoing community arts project featuring more than 40,000 panels, many of which memorialize the life of a person lost to AIDS. An AIDS panel from the Kresge’s cultural collections also will be on display in the museum entryway. For more information, visit artmuseum.msu.edu.

Olin Health Center will host a candlelight vigil in honor of individuals who lost their lives to HIV and AIDS at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the rock on Farm Lane. For more information visit olin.msu.edu.

The Lansing Area AIDS Network will host a World AIDS Day Program featuring HIV-positive speakers and performances beginning at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road. For more information, go to laan.org.
