Speaker to discuss globalization

William Davis, director of the United Nations Information Office in Washington, D.C., will be on campus today to discuss the relationship between the U.S. and the U.N. with university officials and students.

He will speak at the Kellogg Center throughout the day on topics such as global economic development, U.N. Millennium Development Goals and U.S.-U.N. re-engagement and its implications for the state and university.

Davis will talk about U.S.-U.N. re-engagement at 7 p.m. in the Kellogg Center auditorium, along with Vice President for Global Engagement John Hudzik.

The event is free and open to the public.
