Money stolen from student’s mail
A 19-year-old student and Emmons Hall resident opened a birthday card from his grandma to find the $119 she sent him missing, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
A 19-year-old student and Emmons Hall resident opened a birthday card from his grandma to find the $119 she sent him missing, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The student told police the card was torn open and nothing was inside when he found it in his mailbox Oct. 22. He then contacted his grandma, a 70-year-old woman, who confirmed she purchased the card and filled it with cash.
There are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.
