Two female roommates returned from spring break to find their Case Hall room was broken into, apparently so the intruders could smoke marijuana, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
One roommate, an 18-year-old, returned Saturday afternoon and did not notice anything out of order with the room, McGlothian-Taylor said. When her 19-year-old roommate returned at about 2 p.m. the next day, she discovered a marijuana cigarette lying on the windowsill.
When the second roommate told a male friend she found the marijuana, the friend said he heard voices and music coming from the room at about 12:20 p.m. Friday, before either of the roommates returned.
