More than 170 people, 35 dogs, eight cats and one hedgehog-like creature called a tenrec, will come together for the Veterinary Teaching Hospital’s annual “Celebration of Life” event this weekend.
From 1-4 p.m. Saturday, encouraging tales of pet survival will be told at the Veterinary Oncology Center.
Veterinarians and pet owners from across the state will be at the event to share stories of their strong-willed animals. Sparty also will make an appearance.
