Although sometimes the problem with a roommate has to do with their significant other, there is another kind of relationship that can cause just as much strain: pets.
“Either you’re allergic to them, or you just don’t like animals. The problem that most students make is that they don’t negotiate this stuff up front,” said Dennis Martell, health education services coordinator at Olin Health Center.
