West Mich. man sentenced for riot

A 19-year-old Grand Rapids man was sentenced to 20 days in the Ingham County Jail for his participation in April’s Cedar Fest riot.

Anthony Zobro, who pleaded guilty to misdemeanor drunken and disorderly conduct, was sentenced Wednesday by Judge David L. Jordon in East Lansing’s 54-B District Court.

Zobro is required to pay $2,214.40 in costs and fees, including $1,074.40 restitution to the city of East Lansing.

He must complete 80 hours of community service and has been restricted from purchasing, possessing or consuming alcohol or illegal drugs for one year.

He is prohibited from enrolling or entering any Michigan community college or public university campus for one year.
