I recently learned from an MSU cafeterias employee that they often throw away perfectly good food at the end of the day. “They have to do it,” she said. But they don’t. It’s a waste of food. I would eat it. They could have people sign a release of responsibility so they cannot be accused of spoiled food causing sickness. They could write off the “charity” on their taxes, too. Everybody wins. Why not do it? I think they’re being careless.
