Women's basketball team falls to Old Dominion 79-73

December 2, 2007

The MSU women’s basketball team fell just short to Old Dominion on Sunday, 79-73.

Senior guard Courtney Davidson led the Spartans in scoring with 17 points. Freshman forward Kalisha Keane was right behind Davidson, putting away six buckets inside the paint, two 3-pointers and a free throw for 15 points.

Their 22 turnovers may have done the Spartans in, as the Lady Monarchs scored 27 points off them. MSU forced 16 turnovers but only collected 10 points in the effort.
