MSU sophomore Allyssa DeHaan is one of 14 finalists competing for a roster spot on the USA Basketball Women's Under 19 World Championship Team.

DeHaan is currently participating in a five day trial which takes place in Washington, D.C. The trials will conclude Sunday and the roster is expected to be trimmed to 12 players at that time.

The 2007 FIBA Under 19 World Championship tournament will be held July 26 to Aug. 5 in Bratislava, Slovakia. Team USA was placed in Group B after the draw for the 2007 tournament was held March 6. China, Ivory Coast and Lithuania also were placed in Group B along with Team USA.
