East Lansing wants your vote — for ice cream.
Of 98 submissions for the East Lansing centennial ice cream contest, eight choices remain. With options including a variety of toppings, community members can log on to www.cityofeastlansing.com/centennial to vote for their favorite option.
Residents also can purchase a decorative tile, displaying the city's seal. The 4-inch tiles, with options in either a yellow or green glaze, cost $35 each and can be found at Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbott Road, or East Lansing City Hall, 410 Abbott Road.
