A 57-year-old male MSU student reported his book bag stolen between 6:30-6:50 p.m. Monday in Berkey Hall. "He left his book bag unattended in a room in Berkey Hall, and when he came back it was missing," MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. Contained in the bag was his checkbook, identification card, cell phone and cash, McGlothian-Taylor said. The loss is valued at about $210, McGlothian-Taylor said.A 37-year-old female MSU employee reported her vehicle damaged between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. July 27 in Lot 61 near Spartan Stadium. The employee's orange 2004 Pontiac Vibe sustained scratches on both doors of the driver's side, McGlothian-Taylor said. The front driver's side door also had a 2-inch dent, she said. The damage is worth about $500.An 18-year-old female MSU employee was transferred to Sparrow Hospital in Lansing after she fell from her bicycle and hit her head between 8:05-8:35 a.m. Monday near Beal Street. The employee was riding on the sidewalk when her bicycle went onto the road, McGlothian-Taylor said. When she tried to go back on the sidewalk, she fell from her bicycle and hit her head, leaving her unconscious for one or two minutes, McGlothian-Taylor said.
