A 28-year-old male reported his vehicle vandalized between 4:30 p.m. Thursday and 8:20 a.m. Monday in a parking lot off of Service Road. The vent window of the 1995 Ford pickup truck belonging to Lutz Electric was smashed in, and the locks of a toolbox were damaged, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. Nothing was taken, and the damage is worth about $200.A 22-year-old man from California received a noise violation ticket on June 25 in Spartan Village, McGlothian-Taylor said.A red fire extinguisher was taken from the south horse stable between Dec. 7, 2005 and July 10 in the MSU Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education, McGlothian-Taylor said. "A fire extinguisher was noticed missing while inspecting," she said. The extinguisher is worth about $84.Lindsey Poisson
