A 26-year-old university employee reported finding a counterfeit $50 bill in the Administration Building's cashier's office on Feb. 28 between 5 and 7 p.m., MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The bill appeared to be smaller and did not have a security strip, McGlothian-Taylor said. The Secret Service will continue the investigation.A 21-year-old student reported $100 in damage to a window screen in his West Shaw Hall room on Saturday and Sunday, McGlothian-Taylor said. The student said three men knocked on his window at about 1 a.m. asking to be let in, McGlothian-Taylor said. The student told the men they should get checked in at the front desk. Later, the student noticed a cut in his screen. The next day, he noticed another cut in the screen, McGlothian-Taylor said. A 21-year-old student reported being stalked by an ex-boyfriend from December 15 to March 13, McGlothian-Taylor said. The student said a man from Berkshire, N.Y. has been calling her mostly hanging up almost every day. The case is still under investigation.Melissa Domsic
