A man struck an MSU student when he found the male student visiting his girlfriend on Wednesday night in Snyder Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The student told police the woman was a mutual friend and he stood up to offer his hand to her boyfriend when the man punched him in the face and on top of the head, McGlothian-Taylor said. The student sustained a black eye, numerous bumps on his head, a bruise on his right arm and swelling on his left arm, she said.The middle finger knuckle on the man's right hand was bruised and cut, McGlothian-Taylor said.The case has been forwarded to the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office, she said.Margaret Harding
