A one-day history conference will be hosted Wednesday by MSU's Julian Samora Research Institute. It will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Kellogg Center.
The conference registration begins at 8 a.m. Wednesday because the conference is free and seating is limited to 75 people per session.
Julian Samora Research Institute is the Midwest's premier Latino research center and was established in 1989.
"Mexicanos in Greater Aztlan: From the Pacific Northwest to the New South" is the topic and will feature dozens of nationally recognized researchers in four sessions.
