Hurricane response needs investigation

Recently in the Lansing State Journal, Donna Rich Kaplowitz pointed out that other presidents have been impeached for lesser crimes than those which this administration and President Bush have committed. When are we finally going to say, "enough is enough?"

Isn't it finally clear that this administration does not have the best interests at heart of our fellow American citizens, especially when the mother of the president can claim that the hurricane refugees are better off in Houston since they are underprivileged anyway?

Does anyone honestly feel safer and more economically secure compared to six years ago? Let us stand up and say together, "I'm mad and I'm not going to take it anymore!"

An independent committee, separate from politicians, must hold the investigation of the Federal Emergency Management Agency's response, and it must have its own investigators, budget, and subpoena authority.

Clinton was impeached by the house for his "immoral" activities. Letting thousands of people die in their home claiming they weren't accessible is a much higher crime. Let us truly hold this administration accountable.
