The independent commission reviewing the April 2-3 disturbances will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Executive Conference Room of the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbott Road.

Commissioners will discuss issues raised by students, university officials, experts and other community members who testified at the meetings throughout the summer. It is scheduled to run until 5 p.m.

Members of the group plan to develop recommendations on how to better approach events that produce spontaneous and large crowds.
