Letter writer wrong with interpretation

Benjamin Greathouse is misguided in his beliefs on the interpretive aspects of the Bible ("Homosexuality is a sin, Bible says so" SN 7/14).

It isn't impossible to interpret homosexuality as not sinful; in fact, many people in diverse denominational populations do so every day.

I would suggest Greathouse actually study the viewpoints of people he opposes prior to commenting on them.

It does not matter if homosexuality is a sin or not. That should not deter any Christian church from reaching out and accepting homosexual members into its congregation.

Jesus helped prostitutes and thieves. God chose murderers, incestuous people, liars and all sorts of sinners to be a part of his kingdom.

The Christian church is supposed to be an inclusive organization, giving every person the right to pursue their relationship with God.

After all, we all have sins that we commit every day. Why should the so-called "sin" of homosexuality be any different from those?
