Members of the Graduate Employees Union will line Grand River Avenue today to raise awareness about their bargaining sessions. The union represents the rights of teaching assistants and has been negotiating with the university for a new contract since October.
Their current contract expires May 15.
Today, union members will distribute information and ask for supportive action. On Wednesday, the union will discuss the merits and contents of a strike platform.
