A 19-year-old male employee was arrested for stealing $40 from the Sparty's Convenience Store in the Veterinary Medical Center between 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Feb. 11, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The case, in which $40 in the form of two $20 bills were taken, is being referred to the Ingham County Prosecutor's office, she said. A 21-year-old male student reported $160 in personal items taken between 12:35 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday from lockers he was using in Jenison Field House, McGlothian-Taylor said.His wallet, valued at $10, various identification and $30 in cash were taken from one locker he was using, she said.His $100 cell phone and $20 in cash were reportedly taken from a second locker.The man left both lockers unlocked, she said.There are no suspects and the case is under investigation.Lauren Phillips
