I see that The State News continues to print columns of crude hate toward Christians ("Despite popular belief, founding fathers were not all Christians" SN 2/7).
It seems hypocritical that a newspaper - which claims to want tolerance and acceptance for the religious beliefs of others - seems set on printing an occasional column by Mr. Bice that almost invariably attacks a religion that many MSU students follow. It seems that, once again, The State News' hypocrisy knows no bounds when it comes to attacking the right, whether it be against Republicans, conservatives or Christians.
The sad thing is it appears that this philosophy is what The State News, along with Mr. Bice, seem to argue is the problem of Christianity. Except, it seems that by the evidence of letters you've printed in your paper, Christians seems fairly tolerant of your and Mr. Bice's anti-Christian views (although this could be because you fail to print letters that point out your hypocrisy on this).
But it is fairly clear that The State News stands to the defense of remarks that attack religions such as Islam. It also appears that when someone on campus speaks out against the practices of Islam, the entire liberal community, including The State News, is up in arms.
