In response to the article "Reader takes issue with rock message," (SN 1/20) abortion does kill. Abortion ends the life of a fetus. A fetus is the scientific name given to an unborn baby in an attempt to separate human emotion from the realities of what an abortion accomplishes.

In some cases, an abortion even kills the mother along with the "fetus." But ultimately, the destruction of life that occurs in an abortion isn't solely a propaganda issue like you imply, but one that citizens of all persuasions should be concerned about.

Regarding the rock on Farm Lane, people paint it daily. It's a wonderful campus tradition. The message painted by the pro-life group will be gone as quickly as the messages painted on it that celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
