Like Matt McNulty, I too was barred from entering the Breslin Center for MSU against Purdue. My grave offense was that I was wearing last year's Izzone shirt instead of this year's shirt.

Ben Lorson stated that my contract required that I wear this shirt to every game. When I informed him my shirt was dirty because I worked out in it, he said "use some Febreze." He kept on insisting that I had signed this contract and he didn't feel that there should be any bend in the rule. Ben and the other directors somehow think that it's better to have a disgruntled fan and one less person in the student cheering section than someone that might have a different shirt.

The goal of a true student cheering section is to have fun, cheer on our team and show school pride. Wearing this exact shirt for ESPN is not the goal of the section.
