This is a response to Manumit Chui's letter, "Protesters should appreciate freedom" (SN 11/5).
Questioning our government through protests, boycotts and sit-ins is what our country was founded on. That is what we call a democracy. That is what we call freedom.
Please don't tell us to move out of our country if we don't agree with our government's policies. Read up on American history - see the Vietnam War - and while you are at it, take a look at the U.S. Constitution.
