This letter is in response to Chris Hansen's letter to the editor ("Izzo's arrogance readily apparent" SN 11/9). First off, it is pretty classless to call people names - especially in a newspaper, when I doubt Hansen would even have the courage to say it to Izzo's face. I was in the Izzone for three years when I went to MSU and enjoyed every minute of it. I waited out overnight for my tickets when I was there and so have a lot of other students. Tom Izzo has put a quality, competitive product on the floor for years and deserves to have fans who want to be at the games and want to cheer their hearts out. If a comment about out-of-luck students going to Rick's, or a few rules bother Hansen or his girlfriend, so be it.

I'd rather have it this way and know the students at the games are there because they want to be there and cheer our basketball team.
