Three MSU students were honored at the 11th Annual Prism Awards for their service within the lesbian, bisexual, gay and transgender community.
Computer engineering sophomore Jason Bryans received the Prism Award, social relations senior Jon Hoadley won the Leadership Award, and communication senior Laura Sorensen received the Coalition Building Award.
Eleven people were honored.
"It's important to recognize the people in the LBGT community because it helps us see where we've come from and also helps us realize the work that we still need to do," Bryans said.
