A 26-year-old female student told police her cell phone was stolen from her purse on Monday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The student said she put the phone in her purse while in class but left it unattended for a brief moment when she left the class during a break.When the student returned home, she noticed the phone missing.Estimated value of the phone is $120, and police have no suspects. A 50-year-old male university employee reported various utility equipment missing from the Clinical Center, McGlothian-Taylor said.The man said he was doing work in the building and left the tools unattended from April 6 to April 8. When he returned, he discovered the equipment missing.Value of the tools is estimated at $170, and police have no suspects.
