Lansing community center hosts lunch

The Cristo Rey Community Center is holding a benefit for its senior program from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today. Food will be sold for $5 for participants to dine in or take home.

Traditional Mexican food will be sold, including tacos, enchiladas, rice and beans.

The community center is located at 1717 N. High Street in Lansing. The center is a multicultural agency providing assistance and care to low-income, Lansing-area residents.

All proceeds will benefit the center's senior health care program.
