Take a peek behind the curtain and test drive the NEW StateNews.com today!

Lala's conservative viewpoint overdue

The responses to Jim Lala's column ("Liberal students' silent protest doesn't need words to be whiny" SN 4/26) amuse me. And liberals say there is no media bias? We're on a college campus, for crying out loud. The State News is not a national paper, and look at the response the article has gotten. Can you imagine if something like that had been printed in The New York Times?

Of course, there is a media bias, because every time someone says something like what Lala said, he gets ripped. He's called ignorant, racist, etc. It's ridiculous. No wonder there are many more outspoken liberals than outspoken conservatives in Hollywood.

The State News rarely prints articles like Lala's, and it's about time they did.
