Fans are encouraged to attend a pre-game rally for the MSU hockey team Saturday at 11 a.m. at The BOB, 20 Monroe Ave. in downtown Grand Rapids, across the street from Van Andel Arena.

This reception will be held prior to the 3:30 p.m. faceoff against Minnesota-Duluth in the NCAA Midwest Regional.

Guests for this event include MSU head coach Rick Comley, athletics director Ron Mason, the Sparty mascot, the Slapshots student section and the MSU Marching Band. No reservations are necessary.

Before the Spartans-Bulldogs contest, two-time defending national champion Minnesota and Notre Dame play a noon game. The winner of the two games advance to the Midwest Regional Final on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The NCAA Frozen Four is April 8 and 10 in Boston.
