The Department of Student Life will host the second speech in its "Noontime Conversation Series" today.

The speech "Person of the Year: The American Soldier," will be held from 12:10 to 1:00 p.m. in Room 150 of Student Services.

Speakers include MSU Reserve Officers' Training Corps cadets Teresa Hupka and James Ray along with Lt. Col. David Taylor. Taylor's experience includes time as a soldier in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Desert Storm and Desert Shield.

The speech will include discussion of Time Magazine's nomination of the American soldier as the "Person of the Year" and is part of a series which focuses on learning and understanding global information.
