Case competition in need of hero support

January 16, 2004

Time is running out for MSU students who want the opportunity to support for their favorite multicultural hero - and possibly win a $1,500 prize.

The Third Annual Multicultural Heroes Hall of Fame Case Competition, "Passing the Torch of Justice," allows student teams to present evidence for outstanding individuals such as Malcolm X, Gandhi and Eleanor Roosevelt. Teams consisting of three MSU undergraduate students will compete to have their multicultural hero inducted into the Black History Month Multicultural Heroes Hall of Fame.

The competition, sponsored by The Eli Broad College of Business Multicultural Business Programs, will take place Feb. 18. The deadline for entry proposals is today.

For more information, contact Competition Chair Darrell King at kingdar@msu.edu or visit the competition Web site at msu.edu/unit/aacm/MLK/calender.htm.
