The MSU men's and No. 12 women's cross country teams will make a trip Saturday to Indiana for the 2003 NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships.

Indiana State will host the 10K men's race and women's 6K race in Terra Haute, Ind. The men will kick off the championship at 11 a.m. with the women's race set for 12:15 p.m.

The MSU women's team finished third out of 31 teams at the 2002 NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships. The team has placed no less than fifth place in the last four years.

Last season, the men's team placed eighth out of 31 teams in the same regional championship.

On Sunday, Nov. 2 at the Big Ten Cross Country Championships at Forest Akers East Golf Course, the women's team finished in second place. The men's team tied Penn State for seventh.
