A 49-year-old university employee told police that a broken barometer caused a mercury spill at Kedzie Hall between Nov. 1 and Nov. 17, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.Police responded to the building on Monday and decontaminated the area. Those inside the building were evacuated.Steve Eder
