Pick up Bills running back Morris

Welcome to the home stretch.

It's week 12 - time to make the final push to reach the playoffs. It's an opportunity to extend your season and, perhaps, align yourself with a chance for the prize.

The leader lists in all NFL categories are clouded with no-names. Regular achievers are buried amongst newcomers and rookies.

The owners left standing in late December will be the ones who spotted the newcomers and lucked out with their war chests of veterans.

Styf says start 'em

Continue to start Santana Moss and Rudi Johnson, they are on a roll. Make sure that you also look to start all of your Indianapolis Colts. Obviously, Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison should start, but so should Dallas Clark and Reggie Wayne.

Also, make sure that you are starting your Bengals wide receivers, like Chad Johnson and Peter Warrick.

Keep Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson in your lineup. Johnson had 122 yards and a touchdown on four catches against Buffalo.

Stevie E. says sit 'em

Sit 'em and cut 'em. That's Keyshawn Johnson, the deactivated Tampa Bay receiver.

Johnson, a coach's worst nightmare, won't play again this season, Tampa Bay head coach Jon Gruden said Monday.

Johnson's absence, though, won't be too much of a loss for fantasy owners who could count on him for just four-to-five catches per game this season. Through 10 games, he hauled in 45 catches for 600 yards and three touchdowns.

The well has gone dry for Buffalo quarterback Drew BledsoeAF, who thrown just one touchdown and five interceptions in his past five games.

Bledsoe started off the season with steam, tossing four touchdowns in his first four games, including a 314-yard outing against Jacksonville in Week Two.

Even against the weak Houston defense last week, Bledsoe couldn't connect. Look for another troubling game from Bledsoe this week and reserve a spot for him on the bench.

No thanks to running back Corey Dillon, Cincinnati is winning games - big games. Dillon surpassed the 1,000 rushing yard mark in each of his first six seasons in the NFL. This year, he hasn't surpassed the 250-yard mark through Week 11.

Sure, he's been injured, but he also appears to be benched in favor of newcomer Rudi Johnson.

Look for Cincinnati to lineup the running back who gives them the best chance to win - And don't expect that guy to be Dillon.

Styf says add 'em

This week, one of the biggest pickups will be Buffalo Bills running back Sammy Morris. Despite the fact that that the Bills offense is sad this season, he will be starting this weekend.

Travis Henry broke his fibula and Willis McGahee isn't ready yet, so it looks like Morris will be the guy.

With Charlie Garner out with an injured back, it looks like Tyrone Wheatley will be having some time to prove himself again. He ran for 115 yards and a touchdown against the Vikings last weekend.

This is also a good time to pick up Minnesota's Kelly Campbell, with the Vikings set to host Detroit on Sunday. Campbell had four catches for 115 yards and a touchdown against Oakland this past week.

Stevie E. scouts the Spartans

Week after week, it's been a struggle for fantasy managers hoping for output from Pittsburgh receiver Plaxico Burress. The receiver, thought by many to be a budding star, caught just seven passes in all of October.

Last Sunday, Burress posted six catches for 92 yards - a respectable game amidst a disappointing season. Look for Burress to improve on that performance against Cleveland this weekend.

Tennessee receiver Derrick Mason is always a good start. In the past two weeks, Mason has posted 11 catches for nearly 200 yards, but no touchdowns.

Expect Mason to find the end zone against Atlanta on Sunday, while reaching similar receiving yard totals.
